Thesis working title

Risk governance optimisation

Public companies have, over the last two decades, experienced significant change with respect to the expectations of Boards and senior managers (including the C-suite). These expectations apply to all industries, with the most recent regulatory trends impacting Financial Services.

The purpose of this paper is to understand the extent to which established elements of governance contribute to good risk management, and the extent to which this impacts sustainable value in organisations. Cumulatively, this body of work will form the basis for enhancing governance and risk management practices in public companies.
