NSW ALC
The Western Division of NSW is characterised by strong agricultural activities, and active indigenous communities caring for and managing the land for future generations. Traditional indigenous land owners, represented by their Local Aboriginal Land Councils (LALCs), are currently planning for the future development and management of two rural properties at Bourke and Coonamble. RARE is supporting this process through close community engagement and consultation with the LALCs. The project will address multiple sustainability issues including economic, environmental, social and cultural.
