7th International Symposium on Transport Network Reliability (17-19 January 2018, Sydney) - Call for Abstracts Open (Closes 31 May 2017)
13 Feb 2017
The 7th International Symposium on Transport Network Reliability will be held in Sydney on 17-19 January 2018. The conference will be organised by the Institute of Transport and Logistics Studies in conjunction with the School of Civil Engineering at the University of Sydney, with colleagues from the University of NSW, University of Queensland and the University of South Australia serving on the local organising committee.
The objective of this symposium is to provide a forum for participants from universities, government and industry to exchange ideas on the latest developments in the field of transport network reliability. Transport networks support the full spectrum of human activities and their supporting supply chains, and when disaster strikes they provide life lines for rescue services and survivors, so their reliability is a matter of global concern. There will be ample time for interaction among participants, a welcome reception, lunches, morning and afternoon teas, and a conference dinner. The conference will be preceded on 16 January 2018 by a day of tutorials for anyone interested, but particularly post-graduate students.
Previous symposia in this series took place in Kyoto (2001), Christchurch (2004), The Hague (2007), Minneapolis (2010), Hong Kong (2012) and Nara (2015).
