Christine joined ITLS in September 2008. After completing her Honours degree in Computer Science at Monash University, she has had various work experiences in the IT industry and academia, in Australia, New Zealand and Fiji. Christine has worked as an analyst/programmer/ project co-ordinator in the financial services industry, as a software trainer in data analysis software, as a data analyst in the energy research industry, and as a user support consultant in the higher education institution. Within the academic sector, she has been a lecturer co-ordination and teaching computer programming, database, and project management courses. She was also an avid researcher in Computer Science Education and was actively involved in a number of successful national and international research projects, as well as her individual research. She is currently working with Professor Peter Stopher and his team on the long term monitoring and other related projects.
