Tan Lin completed his Bachelor's degree of Management in 2007 with first class honours from Shandong Agriculture University (China) and Master's degree of Economics in Logistics in 2009 from Nankai University (China). Now, he is a 3rd year Ph.D student in Research Center of Modern Logistics, Nankai U. Before Tan came to ITLS his research interests included regional logistics planning, traffic congestion, and industry efficiency evaluation. Now, his research field is mainly focused on the benefits of transport investment, especially in urban level. He has published some papers and participated in some projects which are funded by local governments in China. Tan's visit to ITLS is funded by China Scholarship Council. During his stay at ITLS, Tan Lin will study on the wide economic benefits of urban transport investment. He will also study some transport models, and their application to China. Tan is supervised by Professor Truong Truong.
