Academic Honesty Working Party: turn-it-in assignment management pilot
In Semester 1 2010 we are supporting 50 Units of Study piloting the turn-it-in plagiarism (text-matching) software.
University ePortfolio Pilot: pebblepad
In partnership with Sydney eLearning we are evaluating the student ePortfolio software pebblepad. We are also investigating use of e-portfolios for academic development, at the request of the Associate Dean Learning and Teaching.
SPARK pilot (Self & Peer Assessment Resource Kit)
Supporting a small number of academics piloting SPARK software.
Mobile Learning
Investigating and evaluating Mobile Learning applications and their potential use within the Business School (eg. for iPod and iPhone), as well as the new Blackboard suite of mobile applications.
eSeminars
Developing the technology and program for delivery of eSeminars for staff in relation to online learning.
Web Working Group
Participating with other Business School stakeholders on the Web Working Group to improve the student experience of the Business School website.
Faculty Blackboard Community Engagement System
Developing the architecture and functionality of Blackboard's Community Engagement System portal for students and staff upon visiting and logging into Blackboard. Partnering with IT to establish protocols for new Community Engagement 'organisation' sites.
ECOF1003 & 1004 Community Engagement System
Supporting the technical and educational design of the 2010 joint ECOF1003 & 1004 'organisation' site.
Blackboard 9 Resource Development
Creation of new support resources for Blackboard 9.
eLearning website redevelopment
Restructuring the eLearning pages on the Business School website and developing new content.
Student Orientation week sessions
Partnering with the Orientation Committee to provide introductions to eLearning for students at Orientation during the Student Transition
Staff inductions
Participation in the new staff staff inductions supported by Learning and Teaching in Business.
Accessibility
Ongoing participation in the eLearning Working Party (of the University Disabilities Working Group); Accessibility audit of Blackboard 9 with the ICT Assistive Technologies Officer; making Blackboard's Universal Design & Accessibility site available to staff
