Thesis topic
Developing Agent-Based Models of Business Relations and Networks as Complex Adaptive Systems
Description of research
The thesis strives to better understand business relations and networks. The thesis' focus is to provide new insights on the interplay between structure and development of networks and economic performance. Using computer models experiments and analyses can be conducted that would not be possible in the real world.

Bio
Early on in his professional development Fabian discovered his affection for academic work and he devoted much effort to the development of a solid and broad basis for research in the social sciences.
Being trained as a statistician with a strong affection for the vizualisation and communication of insights from data, he worked in a marketing and communications agency in Munich and for the Australian School of Business at UNSW, Sydney.
Fabian came to Australia in 2009 to provide technical expertise, curiosity and hard work and effort to ARC Discovery Project 0881799 led by Prof Ian Wilkinson (USyd), Prof Robert Marks (UMelb), Prof Louise Young (UWS).
