Bio

I possess 5 years of professional experience with organizations such as Standard Chartered Bank, Tetra Pak, Wartsila International and University of Sydney. A search for continued personal development brought me to Australia and led me to do a Masters in International Business (Honors).

During my masters I started a community website and established a blog (http://www.topbargains.com.au). Currently, it is a leading Australian bargains and deals website in Australia and has been featured in BRW top 100 community websites list as well as national television and other media publications such as Readers Digest, the Sunday Telegraph and the Daily Telegraph.

A closer analysis of visitors paths coming on the website, showed that many bargain hunters follow unique patterns and one can tell a lot about their bargain hunting pattern. Moreover, on the basis of visitor's paths a typology of deal-prone consumers could be created in the online environment. Hence, my research is to study the deal-prone consumers in a computer mediated environment.
