Master of Management (CEMS) / CEMS Masters in International Management

Course Structure

The Master of Management (CEMS) is comprised of 12 units of study (72 Credit points) and has a duration of 1.5 years (3 semesters)

The program of study for the CEMS degree will consist of a mixture of Master of Management units of study offered at the University of Sydney and units of study offered at CEMS partner institutions.

Students always spend the first semester at the University of Sydney undertaking MMGT units of study.

In the second and third semesters students study the Master of Management (CEMS) and CEMS Masters in International Management concurrently.

The University of Sydney offers the option of two CEMS Masters in International Management tracks, which revolve around language proficiency:

  • The tri-national track (for bilingual students) - students that nominate this track must spend their second and third semester on exchange at two different CEMS Universities.
  • The trilingual track (for trilingual students) - students that nominate this track can choose to spend one semester on exchange and the other at the University of Sydney or two semesters on exchange at two different CEMS Universities. In most cases students that elect this track will have to undertake CEMS language testing in their third language.
