Business School sponsorship of Sydney Uni Rugby extended for three years

The University of Sydney Business School, has extended its sponsorship deal with the Sydney University Football Club until the end of 2013.
Australia's premier business school began the partnership with the football club in 2009 and has recently renewed the association in line with the launch of the new look Business School.
Acting Dean of the University of Sydney Business School, Professor Tyrone Carlin said: "We are delighted to further extend the sponsorship deal with Sydney University Football Club - a partnership that has provided both parties with an opportunity to capitalise on the close corporate ties both organisations have.
"The University of Sydney Business School believes high level study is a natural fit with elite sportsmanship and so we greatly value the opportunity to foster our relationship with the Rugby club.
"We look forward to hosting more community events together in the coming three years and watching the partnership further blossom."
General Manager of Sydney University Football Club Ray Dearlove said: "Our relationship with The University of Sydney Business School has been an excellent one and we are delighted to have secured the school's support going forward for the next three seasons. I know both parties will benefit hugely from this ongoing partnership."
In addition to financial support the Business School is an energetic partner in the university's elite sports program and offers highly flexible study options for all committed athletes.
As an example of this, a number of senior representative rugby players are currently completing postgraduate programs at The Business School including NSW Waratahs Dean Mumm, Phil Waugh, Daniel Halangahu, Berrick Barnes and Luke Burgess.
