Business School Alumni Connect over Cocktails
30 Mar 2012
The University of Sydney Business School hosted its most recent Connect over Cocktails event for alumni and staff at The Tattersalls Club, Sydney on 29 March.
The event attracted a crowd of more than 200 alumni and staff of the Business School, and provided a relaxed and informal atmosphere for former students to catch up and network with colleagues and mentors, as well as senior Business School staff.
The keynote address was provided by Alex Malley, CEO of CPA Australia, whose speech included reflections on leadership in business from a CEO's perspective. The address was well-received, and provided an interesting glimpse into the life of a current top-tier business professional.
"This latest Connect over Cocktails event was a great success," said Professor Tyrone Carlin, Acting Dean of the Business School. "I would particularly like to thank Alex Malley for providing both his time and insight into his individual journey in becoming a CEO. His words provided everyone present with an inspiring look into the world of a Chief Executive Officer."
