The Dean of the Business School, Professor Geoffrey Garrett, described the new role as a "leadership position which will have a significant impact on the School's future".
"I am pleased to announce Dr Finch's appointment," Professor Garrett said. "As Director of Admissions he will be working from the ground up on the development of a recruitment and admissions infrastructure for the School."

Dr Finch is also an academic member of the University of Sydney's China Studies Centre and has considerable experience in business regulation and economic development across Asian. Earlier this year, he was given a significant grant to conduct a two-year program aimed at enhancing economic growth in Mongolia.
