Business School's Professor Briley honoured by prestigious marketing journal

The University of Sydney Business School's Professor of Marketing, Dr Donnel Briley, has become the first Australian to be honoured by the prestigious Journal of Consumer Research with an Outstanding Reviewer for 2013 Award.
Founded in 1974, the United States based multidisciplinary Journal publishes empirical, theoretical, and methodological articles on consumer behaviour by leaders in the fields of psychology, marketing, sociology, economics, communications and anthropology.
Dr Briley is one of only two Australian members of the publication's Editorial Review Board. The other, Professor Elizabeth Cowley, is also a member of the University of Sydney Business School's Discipline of Marketing.
"The Journal of Consumer Research is a leader in this field," said Professor Briley.
"It is an honour to be a member of its Editorial Review Board and to be recognised for my contribution to the Board."
Other Award recipients this year include Board members representing Pennsylvania State University, the University of Texas at Austin, Columbia University, New York University and the University of British Columbia.
