Lucy Mentoring Program launched for 2013
05 Jun 2013
More than 80 students and mentors were on hand for the 2013 launch of the Lucy Mentoring program, at an event held on 21 May in the Sydney CBD offices of the National Australia Bank.
This year marks the tenth anniversary of the Business School's association with the Lucy Program, which has produced more than 250 graduates and provided a significant amount of ongoing personal and professional support for young women embarking on a business career.
The event was sponsored by NAB and featured Anne Bennett, General Manager, Wealth Online and Digital Servicing, as the keynote speaker. It was the first opportunity for students to meet their mentors and begin to develop an ongoing relationship.
The Lucy Program is an innovative leadership program aimed at women studying Business or Law at the University of Sydney and the University of Western Sydney.
The program educates women about employment and leadership opportunities in the corporate and public sectors by establishing relationships between students and mentors from diverse organizations including NAB, Credit Suisse, Westpac, Commonwealth Bank and Deloitte.
