The Business School has kicked off 2014 by continuing to sponsor the Sydney University Football Club (SUFC).
Newly appointed General Manager, Hannah Catchpole, is enthusiastic about the pairing. "It has quickly become clear to me what fantastic sponsors we have supporting the club, and I am delighted our partnership with the Business School can continue in 2014", Hannah said.
A number of Business School students and alumni have had success on the rugby field demonstrating a correlation between high-level academic study and elite sporting activity.
The club started off this year in victorious style taking out the 2014 Australian Club Championship, making it their 10th triumph.
For the inaugural National Rugby Competition, a combined team will be formed with Balmain Rugby Club.
Hannah is optimistic that the future will be as impressive as the past. "The club's 150th year was very successful and it is something we are striving for again this season", she said.
The first home game will be played on 19 April against Manly.
