Orientation is your chance to find your bearings on campus and meet other students before lectures start.
Orientation welcomes you to the University of Sydney community, making sure your experience here is the best possible. You'll be given lots of advice and useful contacts to help you thrive and succeed in your personal and academic endeavours.
If you missed orientation, please visit the Thriving and Surviving section to access useful information before commencing and during your studies.
Join the mentoring program
A peer mentor can show you around, introduce you to people in your classes, and help you get a head start in the Business School.
Students who missed the opportunity to sign up for a mentor during Orientation Week can contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org

Ready for a challenge - Participate in an Innovation Contest
Over the next decade healthcare will change dramatically with a shift toward empowered consumers. Two factors which are shaping the change to healthcare are:
- Sensors which collect data (for example, Apple Watch, Fitbit)
- Sharing Economy which mobilises underused resources (for example, Uber, AIRBNB)
How could sensors or the sharing economy help improve healthcare by putting consumers in control of their health?
The best idea will win an Apple Watch!
Visit the Innovation Hub stall in Abercrombie Building Foyer (12-2pm on Orientation Day) and add your idea to the wall.
If you have any queries regarding the contest, please email the Innovation Hub firstname.lastname@example.org
