Project Summary

The overall goal of Investing in Women is to contribute to women’s economic empowerment in Southeast Asia with the understanding that this will in turn contribute to continue economic growth.  Target countries are the Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam and Myanmar. As a key consortium partner, the University of Sydney will provide specialist research inputs, to: provide a knowledge base on gender equality in the workplace and women’s work and Civil Society in SEA; provide a knowledge base on impact investing, entrepreneurship and female headed SMEs in SEA; provide evidence-based advice on thematic issues.
