ITT LLDC Research Development Project

Project Summary

In 2015, the University of Sydney and the International Think Tank for Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC) forged a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to explore collaborative opportunities in research and other activities to develop and exchange knowledge regarding the unique issues faced by landlocked developing countries. In line with this, the Principal Investigator will lead the development of a research agenda focused on LLDCs, and will administer a cross-disciplinary research project aimed at stimulating research in this emerging area. The umbrella research project explores specific sub-research projects are related to:

  1. Transport and access issues of LLDCs;
  2. Trade and economic development issues of LLDCs;
  3. Technology and connectivity issues of LLDCs
