The Risk Analytics Research Group

The Risk Analytics Research Group has the objective of encouraging collaboration on research in risk analytics, defined as the use of mathematical and statistical methods to measure, predict, analyse and control risk. Research will be concerned with all areas of business, economic and financial risk.

The research group is characterised by:

  • Cross-disciplinary research collaboration
  • Close engagement with with the broader community, including business, not-for-profit, and government.
  • An active program of visitors from overseas and regular seminars hosted by the research group.

This is a new initiative, set up in 2014, building on an existing research strength of the Business School.
