Bio

Dr Annalena Welp is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Sydney Business School. Her research focuses on interrelations between teamwork, employee well-being and safety in healthcare settings.

She received her PhD in Psychology from the University of Fribourg (Switzerland), her Masters in Work & Organisational Psychology from the University of Tilburg (Netherlands) and her Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Cologne (Germany). Prior to joining Work and Organisational Studies, she worked at the Institute for Patient Safety in Bonn, Germany.

Her current project entitled β€œIs your team engaged in their work – or just working?’ investigates the role of team work engagement in nursing teams, and how it affects well-being, performance, and quality of patient care.
