David's journey in the field of transport and logistics began over a decade ago, employed within distribution centres of Australia's largest privately owned 3PL, Linfox. Whilst employed in various frontline management roles in operations, transport and distribution, he studied a Bachelor of Business and Commerce, specialising in logistics, at the University of Western Sydney. In 2013, he completed the Master of Transport Management and Master of Logistics Management degrees at ITLS, incorporating study in the fields of aviation, maritime and rail management to complement his work history from the trucking industry.

David is currently embarking on the MPhil/PhD research program at ITLS in the field of Aviation Management. His research supervisors are Dr Rico Merkert and Associate Professor Stephen Greaves.
