Heather earned her Bachelor's degree in Commerce (Liberal Studies) with Honours at the University of Sydney in 2010, with majors in International Business, Government and International Relations, and Accounting.
She provides learning support on a one-to-one basis for students in the Business School. This includes, but is not limited to, students at risk and on the Academic Progression Register, or students on Scholarships. Heather is available to assist with improving expression and argumentation for written work or oral presentations, as well as learning skills such as research and time management. The writing component of her humanities background has been integral to supporting students as well as contributing to the first year units of the Business Programs Unit. Her commitment to teaching has been recognised with both a Dean's Citation for tutoring and nominations for the Business School Excellence in Tutoring awards.
A PhD candidate, her thesis is examining the role of policy environments in shaping internationalisation strategies for firms in the solar energy sector in Australia. Her interests are in policy evaluation, internationalisation and renewable energy.
