Bio

Before joining ITLS, Ines worked as a researcher at University Bocconi in Milan (Italy) where she contributed to a range of projects in the areas of freight and passenger transport. These included the planning and implementation of city logistics projects in several European cities, business case development of innovative rail technologies, sustainable transport planning and studies on the environmental impacts of road transport. During her time in Italy, she developed an interest in environmental problems related to transport and in policy formulation to foster more sustainable transport systems. Ines holds a four year coursework degree from the University of Freiburg in Germany. The topic for her Thesis was in the area of climate change and natural resource economics which she prepared at Foundation Eni in Milan. In 2014, she joined the Infrastructure Advisory Team at Deloitte in Sydney where she is working as a transport economist to prepare Cost-Benefit Analysis for transport projects. She has published in her research in leading international journals including Supply Chain Management: an International Journal and The Australian Journal of Agriculture and Resource Economics. Her supervisors at ITLS are Prof Corinne Mulley and Dr Geoffrey Clifton.
