Linda has over 8 years experience as an applied research psychologist, working across a broad range of public policy areas. The focus of her research is on the world of work; specifically on the changing nature of skill development in the low paid and health services workforces. Prior to joining the Workplace Research Centre at The University of Sydney, Linda worked at the NSW Bureau of Crime Statistics and Research (BoCSAR) examining the link between alcohol and crime. She conducted large scale studies with both the NSW Police Service and NSW Health, and studied the efficacy of NSW responsible service of alcohol legislation. Linda also has extensive experience at the highest levels of Government, including three years on the staff of Federal Cabinet Secretary and Special Minister of State Senator John Faulkner. She has experience in experimental and applied research design, and has lectured and tutored psychology at both The University of New South Wales and The University of Sydney
