Lisa has been an academic at the University of KwaZuluNatal for the last 15 years after serving articles of clerkship at a large law firm in Durban, South Africa. She is a commissioner at the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA) in South Africa, a dispute tribunal modeled on the AIRC. She lectures labour law and has published in the area of HIV/AIDS and employment, sexual harassment, internet abuse, domestic workers and work-life balance.
Working thesis title: Organisational determinants of work-family arrangements in South African organizations
