Mei Wen came to the University from the Australian National University, where she was a fellow in Research School of Pacific and Asian Studies. She worked in the University of Melbourne for three years before joining the Australian National University. In addition to the post in the University, she is currently a research associate of Monash University and the Australian National University.
Dr Wen has a wide range of research interests and has published in leading economic journals, such as Journal of Development Economics, Journal of Economic Behaviour and Organization, China Economic Review, Economic Development and Cultural Changes, and Economic Record.
She has reviewed papers for The Economic Journal, Social Choice and Welfare, Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, Journal of Economic and Management Strategy, China Economic Review, Journal of Division of Labor and Transaction Cost, Australian Economic Papers, Journal of Economics, Urban Studies and Journal of Developing Areas.
