Bio
Paul Blayney joined the Faculty in 1988 following three years at the University of Technology in Lae, Papua New Guinea. Prior to his academic career he completed his chartered accounting training with a "Big 8" public accounting firm in Calgary, Canada.
Paul Blayney's research interests are in the management accounting areas of cost allocation and product costing. He is also very involved with computer assisted education and has developed a computerised assignment marking system that is used in several courses within the Faculty and at other institutions.
Paul has undertaken and published the results of surveys into cost and management practices in several countries.
