Ronita Singh is a graduate in Accounting & Information Systems from the University of the South Pacific (USP) Suva, Fiji Islands, where she was awarded three gold medals for being the best graduating student in the Faculty of Business & Economics. Prior to joining the University of Sydney, she worked as a Tutor in the Accounting & Financial Management Department at USP.
Ronita's research interest includes financial reporting standards, SME reporting, international accounting standards and compliance. Currently she is working on her PhD thesis: International Financial Reporting Standards on Small and Medium entities: A Political Perspective. She takes keen interest in research and has presented research papers at international conferences. Ronita is currently involved in teaching ACCT3011 Financial Accounting B.
