Sharna is a Senior Research Associate and PhD Candidate whose current research interests focus upon the potential for technology, including human resource information systems, electronic human resource management and social media to inform and benefit talent management and human resource management.
She is currently finalising her doctorate which examines the discursive processes through which the concepts of talent and talent management are attributed meaning and how these are transmitted, received and enacted in practice by Australian organisations.
She has lectured and tutored at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in an array of subjects pertaining to organisational behaviour, human resources and technology, qualitative research methods, leadership, business ethics and human resource management for which she has been awarded the 'Deans Citation for Tutoring' on numerous occasions.
Sharna combines her passion for knowledge with over 15 year's industry experience having previously worked as a management consultant, recruitment specialist, and retail service manager.
