Bio
Wes Hamilton-Jessop is an Associate Lecturer in the Discipline of Accounting. He holds a Master of Commerce (Business Law & Accounting) from the University of Sydney and is currently undertaking a Master of Philosophy titled "The taxation of corporate groups through the Australian consolidation regime".
Prior to joining academia, Wes has worked in the banking and finance sector and as an accounting specialist and business advisor to small and medium businesses. He currently sits on the board of five private companies.
Wes' teaching and administration responsibilities include Introductory Accounting, Auditing and Corporate Governance. His strong communication skills are demonstrated in numerous accolades received for his teaching, including a Dean's Citation in Tutoring in 2008 and 2009.
