Commonwealth Supported Places

Most postgraduate students pay tuition fees, however, limited postgraduate Commonwealth Supported Places (CSP) are available to eligible students in some business and commerce programs.*

A Commonwealth Supported Place is a higher education place for which the Government makes a contribution towards the cost of the education. Students pay a student contribution amount (previously known as HECS charges), which varies depending on the course.

Who qualifies?

  • CSP are available to new domestic applicants.
  • Existing or continuing students will not be considered.
  • Places need to be accepted for the upcoming semester – deferrals and subsequent transfers are also not included.

  • Master of Commerce
  • Master of Professional Accounting
  • Master of International Business
  • Master of Management
  • Master of Management (CEMS) (very limited places)
  • Master of Logistics and Supply Chain Management
  • Master of HRM & IR

Programs not included

  • Global Executive MBA
  • MBA
  • Master of Marketing
  • All Certificate and Diploma level applications

The process

Students are not required to make a separate application. Applications will be assessed on merit. As the number of CSP is fixed, it is recommended you submit your application as early as possible.
