China Future of Business Study Tour

Over the winter break The University of Sydney Business School is offering a short term study tour program in China for our undergraduate students. The program is offered in partnership with the Sydney Suzhou Centre and Suzhou Dushu Lake Entrepreneurial University and takes place in Suzhou between 8 – 22nd July 2018. Included is a pre-departure workshop on 6 June, which will focus on employability, cultural awareness and professional identity as well as a re-entry workshop on the 25th July.

This program has been designed to introduce students to the future of business in China and is a pathway towards more complex Work Integrated Learning programs.

Suzhou is situated 90 minutes by train from Shanghai and is one of China’s most affluent cities and one of the most dynamically innovative and entrepreneurial regions among the Yangtze River Delta. It is a popular tourist destination, renowned for ancient Chinese gardens that have even been listed as a World Heritage Site, water towns, museums and gourmet restaurants.

Students will be fully supported for the duration of the program by an academic from the Business School.

NCP Government funding is available to eligible students. Partial Business School scholarships are also available and awarded under two categories i.e. Merit & Leadership and Equity & Merit. Please refer to the Fees and Scholarships page for further information.
