The University of Sydney Business School, has partnered with International Studies Abroad (ISA), to offer a unique program in China for our Australian citizen undergraduate students. The program incorporates a 6 week internship in Shanghai over the summer vacation (4 January – 18 February 2017 – including a week of leave for Chinese New Year).
The University of Sydney Business School’s 6-week Shanghai Business Immersion Program will allow students to develop their academic, social, cultural, and professional skills to position them well for a global career. The program is designed to give students a comprehensive experience that goes well beyond the internship itself.
All internships are in Shanghai, which is one of the world's largest cities and an important centre for business and trade. With a population close to 20 million people, Shanghai presents unlimited multi-cultural experiences, with people from all over the world calling Shanghai home the city has a unique mix of contemporary culture with a very long & interesting history.
All internships in Shanghai will be conducted in English, so no previous knowledge of Chinese language is required.
In addition to support from the Business School, students will be fully supported by an on-the-ground ISA Resident Director for the duration of the program.
The Business School has applied for Australian Government scholarships (to the value of $2000 each) through the New Colombo Plan Funding Scheme, which must be used towards the cost of the program. There will also be Business School top-up scholarships awarded under merit and equity criteria. Please refer to the Fees page for further information.
