Local Industry Placement Program

Units of study

Students accepted into the program will be enrolled into BUSS2100/BUSS6500 - administered by the Business School. The unit requires students to undertake their work placement as well as undertaking preparatory coursework in reflective and professional practice while concurrently completing associated coursework.

Assessment will include a critical self-reflection report and an oral presentation based on the placement experience.

The local Industry Placement Program is an elective unit of study and cannot count towards a major/specialisation. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure that they have room in their degree to undertake this unit.

Upon successful completion of the associated coursework, students will receive 6 credit points towards the elective component of their degree.
