Director of Doctoral Studies

The Director of Doctoral Studies, Professor Stephen Greaves is responsible for the following activities: the strategic development and promotion of research higher degrees in the Business School, approving the admission, examination and graduation of students, monitoring the performance of postgraduate research students, overseeing appeals and disciplinary procedures relating to postgraduate research students, approval of research scholarships etc.

Coordinator HDR Training

The Coordinator HDR Training is responsible for all the training needs and special projects for higher degree by research candidatures. These projects include events, workshops, induction, Film your Thesis Festival, faculty based 3MT and the development and promotion of research higher degrees in the Business School. The Coordinator HDR Training also manages the implementation of key strategic projects as directed by the ADR and Deputy Dean (Academic) and the Director of Doctoral Studies.

Research Student Administration Officer

The Administrative Officer (HDR) is responsible for the receipt and administration of Expressions of Interest received from prospective applicants wishing to undertake a research degree. The Administrative Officer also undertakes the administration of formal applications for entry into research degrees within the Business School and responds to queries raised by academic staff and prospective students about the process.
