Business School Computer Account
The Business School computer account is for:
- logging into Blackboard
- logging into computers in the Business School computer labs
- accessing your P: and R: drives
- remote access to these drives from outside of the Business School network.
If you are a new student, your Business School computer account will usually be available within 3 working days from the date of enrolment. It will not be created until all enrolment information has been processed by the University enrolment office and passed onto Business School IT.
When your account is created on the Business School network, you will receive an email through your University email account. Follow the instructions in the email to activate your Business School computer account and synchronise it with your Unikey account. You will not be able to log onto the Business School network or Blackboard until you have done this. Check your University email account regularly soon after you have completed enrolment.
Your Unikey account is the one given to you when you first enrol in this University. Use this account to access MyUni, your university email, intranet/internet and any PC in the University Access Labs. These services are maintained by the Information and Communications Technology staff (ICT). ICT provide centralised IT support and services to both staff and students of the University of Sydney.
Change your password
Students (both undergraduates and postgraduates) should use the UniKey password change facilities at ICT Switch. When you change your UniKey password it automatically synchronises to the Business School directory and thus Blackboard as well.
