LA Placement Program

Applications for the 2017 Program are now closed.

The Industry Placement Program application is a 2 part process: an online application followed by an online interview.

STEP 1: online application

To complete your online application you are required to submit the following:

  1. A copy of your resume;
  2. A copy of your academic transcript printed from Sydney Student;
  3. An image of your current passport identification page.

The documents listed above must be attached as a single word document not exceeding 12 MB.

STEP 2: online interview

Once you have submitted an online application and applications have closed, you will receive email notification to complete an online interview. This will be sent to your university email account and you will have approximately 2 days to complete the interview.

Online, recorded interviews are conducted on InterviewStream. This is a state of the art interview prep tool developed to improve your interview skills and employment outcomes. An InterviewStream account has been created for all Business School students, please check your university email account for further details. Information is also available on Blackboard.

A step by step InterviewStream User Guide is available.

  1. You will need a good internet connection; webcam and microphone. The microphone in InterviewStream is very sensitive so you may need to test this and adjust the sensitivity several times. Specific system requirements are available in the user guide
  2. If you are having difficulties logging in, you may need to clear your browsing history and cookies, or try another browser.
  3. You will have only 1 attempt at completing the IPP interview, so we strongly recommend that you become familiar with the system and practice beforehand.

Please note that your Industry Placement Program application is NOT complete until you have completed steps 1 and 2 above. Late applications will not be accepted.

Please contact if you have any questions regarding the application process.
