Washington DC Placement Program

Fees

The cost of the program is a combination of University of Sydney tuition fees, UCDC tuition fees and on campus living.

University of Sydney Business School BUSS2500 Washington DC Placement Program (which includes the 9-week internship placement)

$3300 (local students)
$3870 (international students)

University of California Washington Center units (The Presidency and the Executive Branch and one elective) and on-campus accommodation for 9-weeks (including use of facilities), pre-departure sessions and administration costs

$8000 (both local and international students)

Please note: Eligible local students may apply to defer their tuition fee payment for the University of Sydney Business School unit BUSS2500 Washington DC Placement Program, through the Australian Government's FEE-HELP scheme. For more information on FEE-HELP, visit: www.goingtouni.gov.au

FEE-HELP can only be used to defer payment of the University of Sydney Business School tuition fees. FEE-HELP does not cover the tuitions fees of the UCDC units, accommodation and any other associated costs. If students elect to defer their payment for the BUSS2500 Washington DC Placement Program unit, then their upfront program fee liability will be A$8000.

Additional costs

Students are also responsible for the following costs:

  • Visa application and lodgement costs for an F-1 visa to the United States. Refer to the Embassy of the United States for details.
  • Return airfares to Washington DC and transfers
  • Comprehensive travel Insurance for the duration of the program
  • Food and entertainment costs
