- Business and Labour History Group
The main objective of the Business and Labour History Group is to promote historical research and teaching within the Business School. The group organises seminars and conferences on historical themes in the areas of accounting history, business history, economic history and labour history. It also runs research projects on a variety of themes.
- Co-operatives Research Group
The Co-operatives Research Group provides a forum for research into and teaching about all forms of mutual organisations, including; consumer, social, worker, finance, producer co-operatives and other membership based democratic organisations.
- Diversity in Work Research Group
The Diversity in Work Research Group (DiWRG) was formed in 2011 with the aim of harnessing the cross-disciplinary expertise of scholars and practitioners who share an interest in diversity-related issues. We aim to develop existing stakeholder relationships and create and develop new ones in order to provide a forum to shape and inform public policy debate in diversity management with a focus on culturally and linguistically diverse workers.
- Organizational Discourse, Strategy and Change Group
The Organizational Discourse, Strategy and Change Group at the University of Sydney comprises a group of researchers located in the Business School. The group share an interest with colleagues located at these other member institutions in developing and applying discourse methods in the study of organizations.
- Union Strategy Research Group
The activities of the union strategy group are based on the belief that research which is theoretically sophisticated and empirically detailed is vitally important in the face of the current changes in the nature of work, the employment relationship and the strategies of governments and employers.
- Women and Work Research Group
The Women and Work Research Group (WWRG) provides high quality research, research training and consultancy on all aspects of women's experience of work, employment, family and community in Australia and the Asia-Pacific Region. WWRG's work has covered parental, maternity and paternity leave, flexible working and carers issues, indigenous women's 'stolen wages', migrant women and work, pay equity and equal opportunity for women in the workplace and women's health issues at work.
