• University's cancer researchers recognised

  

  The world-class standard of University of Sydney research has been confirmed in the Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA) evaluations. Cancer researchers performed exceptionally well, with the division of "oncology & carcinogenesis" being ranked well above the world standard.

• New collaboration to fight breast cancer

  

  Physiotherapists, oncologists, psychologists, physiologists and experts in breast surgery and public health have joined forces in a new multidisciplinary research group dedicated to improving the future outcomes and overall quality of life of breast cancer sufferers.

• University well represented in Cure Cancer grants

  

  A group of 10 University of Sydney and affiliated medical institute cancer researchers have won a share in a record $3.2 million in grants awarded by the Cure Cancer Australia Foundation.
