Research interests
Liza Cubeddu's research interests lie in understanding the biological and structural basis of the interaction between proteins and DNA in gene regulation and in the DNA repair framework. To do this, she uses a combination of protein chemistry, biophysics, molecular biology and cell biology. Liza is particularly interested in how deficiencies in these cellular processes lead to diseases, such as cancer, and how gene regulation and DNA repair are linked in oncogenesis.
