Aptitude and personality tests
Aptitude and personality tests are also referred to as Psychometric Tests.
Aptitude tests seek to assess candidates’ ability to logically reason and to resolve problems. They generally involve an assessment of a particular ability, e.g. numerical, verbal, spatial, abstract reasoning, etc.
Personality/ psychometric tests
These tests ask questions relating to personality and help employers understand how candidates might fit into a team as well as give insight as to their work styles and preferences.
It is best to answer these tests as honestly as possible.
