Postgraduate Information Sessions
The University and individual faculties hold information sessions during the evening or daytime for prospective students to meet current students and academics associated with the degree programs.
Visit our Annual Careers Fair where you can meet directly with employers from your discipline and collect information on opportunities related to your studies.
Visit the website of your relevant professional associations as career information and job opportunities are often listed, e.g. Association of Professional Engineers, Scientists and Managers, Australia.
It is also highly recommended that you join your relevant association. Many offer student membership at a discounted rate.
Attend events held by your relevant professional association in order to build your networks, and your knowledge about opportunities in your field. Visit our Professional Associations page to find your relevant association or visit a library to access a hard copy or electronic version of the Directory of Australian Associations.
