Law Careers Fair 2015

The Careers Centre is excited to announce the return of the Law Careers Fair in 2015. To be held after hours in the Great Hall, the fair responds to your feedback for greater connections to employers in the fields of Law and Legal Practice. Providing you with an invaluable opportunity to meet and speak with potential future employers, this fair is a great opportunity to find out about career opportunities and seek career advice from staff from a wide variety of law firms and legal services.

Wednesday 18 March, 5.30–7.30pm
Great Hall, The Quadrangle, Camperdown Campus

Law Careers Fair 2015

Please note: University staff will be taking photos for promotional purposes during the event.

Can I attend this Fair?

Students from the Sydney Law School are encouraged to attend this Fair.

What can I expect on the day?

Visit the stands of a variety of organisations in the fields of law and legal practice to discuss careers and key skills required. You will be able to meet and talk with staff looking to recruit University of Sydney students.

How do I prepare?

Preparing yourself is the best way to help you stand out from the competition and impress employers. Read making the most of careers fairs and the how to prepare for the fair blog as an initial first step, and take advantage of the numerous services offered free of charge by the Careers Centre.

Many of these employers conduct on-campus information sessions throughout the year. Monitor the Careers Centre events calendar for details.

Another great resource to read before the fair is The Law Society of NSW website. NSW Graduate Employment and Summer Clerkship Programs offered by law firms are co-ordinated by the Law Society of NSW.

The Graduate employment and summer clerkship programs page provides a general overview about the programs available, and also lists participating law firms and important application dates.
