International Student Careers Conference - 24 April 2014

A one day inaugural International Student Careers Conference was held for international students from all disciplines and stages in Semester 1.

The event provided an engaging and interactive forum as industry representatives, alumni and career professionals provided valuable insights, tips and advice on preparing to begin a career in Australia, a graduate’s home country or around the globe.

Ms Kim Hwang, International Relationship Manager at CPA Australia gave the keynote address sharing wisdom from her own career journey and advice on overcoming challenges to secure employment in Australia.

International student alumni contributed their insights on transitioning to graduate employment and achieving early career success in Australia. A networking lunch provided students with the opportunity to meet alumni and industry professionals and to ask their own questions.
