The Bookfair Sydney waits for is on again
Saturday 17 to Wednesday 21 September 2011
Saturday to Tuesday 10am to 4pm
Wednesday 10am to 2pm

The University's annual Book Fest was founded in 1986 by Lady Black, the wife of Chancellor Sir Hermann Black.

It is over several days every year in September, and – since 1989 – in the Great Hall, and aims at offering the best value for a wide range of second hand books on practically every subject.

Books are collected, sorted and priced year-round by groups of volunteers in Fisher Library. Books available include those on: architecture, art, children's books, Australiana, reference, literature, poetry, language, LARGE PRINT.

Other subjects include zoology, Aboriginal studies, literature, foreign language, philosophy and many more. New volunteers are always wanted and welcome, and interest in books and ready willingness to help are the only qualifications needed.
