Agreement

As a representative agent of CET it is important that you know about your responsibilities and also that you require an agreement in order to actively represent CET.

CET strives to provide a professional service and in doing so expects this same service to be supplied through its representation. We believe that you as an Agent will uphold this professionalism and as a whole we will both continue to help prospective students to reach their desired outcome.

Responsibilities

CET is required to comply with Department of Education, Science & Training (DEST) legislation. For more information please visit the DEST website.

This requires that an institution and its agents/representatives do not engage in misleading or deceptive conduct when advising prospective students.

As a representative you need to be familiar with your responsibilities in relation to counselling or advising prospective students, as outlined below:

Agreements

Under Australian Government legislation, it is necessary that all agent representatives hold a current formal agreement in order to recruit prospective students for CET.

If you would like to become a representative agent, please contact to find out if you are eligible.

Current representative agents will be ranked according to their performance and in doing so will receive either a one or three year agreement. This performance will be based on the following:

  1. Student enrolments
  2. Agent student relationships (including quality of counselling and advice)
  3. Agent/CET relationship
  4. Agents understanding the enrolment process and DIAC regulations (including sending completed applications and necessary documentation)

Once your agreement has expired, CET will send through a new agreement via email which you will need to sign and return. Once this has been received a certificate of representation will be sent to you. If we do not receive the agreement, we will assume you no longer wish to represent CET.

Commission

CET only pays commission once the student has commenced their program.

In order to claim commission, agents must send through and invoice to CET by one of the following methods:
