CET is a Cambridge Preparation Centre. Cambridge examinations provide a rigorous assessment of your English level and the preparation courses are guaranteed to improve your language skills.
CET is currently offering the following examinations, (all courses are subject to demand):
First Certificate in English (FCE)

FCE is an exam for people who can use everyday written and spoken English at an upper-intermediate level. It is an ideal exam for people who want to use English for work or study purposes.
Cambridge Advanced English (CAE)

CAE is an exam for advanced users of English. This exam is aimed at people who can use written and spoken English for most professional and social purposes. It is widely recognised for work or study purposes.

Exam details
Cambridge exams are proof of a high level of English language competence for those wishing to use English at work or for study.
These tests have an emphasis on real-world tasks and is recognised by many British and Australian universities for English language entrance requirements. For English entry requirements in the University of Sydney you will need to contact the faculty of your chosen degree. Generally, IELTS and TOEFL are the recognised English exam.
Five components: Reading, Writing, English in Use, Listening and Speaking.

- CAE $368 - subject to change.

Eligibility
To be eligible for this course you will need to provide results from your FCE or CAE test.
IELTS test results will also be accepted. The minimum for FCE is 5.5 Academic and the minimum for CAE is 6.5 Academic.
If you do not have any test results, you will be required to do an entry test - via a CET qualifying test.
