Curriculum and complementary activities
CET will tailor course content according to your educational and professional needs. We can deliver English language lessons for a broad range of disciplines and industries such as accounting, economics, law, ESL teacher training, IT and engineering, business and marketing, cross-cultural studies, Australian culture, medicine and sciences.
In order to maximise your learning experience you can choose from a broad range of educational, professional and recreational activities such as:
- Discipline-based lectures in conjunction with any faculty at the University of Sydney
- Specialty workshops and seminars
- Industry visits to companies, government departments and other public and private sector organisations
- Cultural activities
- Excursions and sight-seeing
Sample program
A typical 2-week program may look like this:
- Return airport transfers plus 2 x weekly public transport tickets per person
- 2 weeks of English language lessons specific to your discipline or industry
- 2 weeks accommodation in homestay (arranged through CET accommodation provider)
- 2 meals Monday to Friday and 3 meals on weekends
- Entry to all requested activities, industry visits and/or excursions
- Graduation ceremony & certificate
