Entry requirements

To be eligible for the GAS course, you need an undergraduate or postgraduate offer from an Australian university and a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 or equivalent.

Not at this English level? You can extend your program and start with our Intensive Test Preparation course (ITP).

What will I learn?

  • Develop skills related to academic discussions, university assignment papers, creativity and innovation, critical thinking and collaboration.
  • Participate in lectures, tutorials and group activities, including a project assignment that involves exploring Sydney’s suburbs.
  • Develop digital competencies necessary for university success, such as collaboration on discussion boards, creation of blogs and video materials, and use of eLearning platforms for project proposals.
  • Develop skills in self-reflection, self-assessment and autonomous learning.

Fees

The course fee for the GAS program is $2625, plus $300 for administration fee and $125 for materials.

Credit card surcharges

Course payments made by credit card (Visa or Mastercard) will incur a surcharge of 1.53% of the total cost.

Overseas Health Cover (OSHC)

If you are intending to study under a student visa, you will need Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC). CET can arrange OSHC for you with Allianz as part of the application process. Simply indicate the type of insurance required (single/dual/family) on step 2 of the application form. You may also arrange your own cover from any of the government approved providers below:
