The Centre for English Teaching (CET) offers this high level program in academic preparation for students who are entering a degree program at an Australian university.

Key benefits

The Graduate Academic Skills (GAS) course helps you to hone your academic skills.

Throughout the course, academic skills workshops will provide input into the key areas that will assist you to excel at university.

These include: critical thinking skills, research skills, group work strategies, presentation skills, and participation in academic tutorials.

All workshops and tasks are designed to provide you with the opportunity to apply and transfer knowledge to the university context.

Entry requirements

To be eligible for the GAS course, you need an undergraduate or postgraduate offer from an Australian university and a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 or equivalent.

Not at this English level? You can extend your program and start with our Intensive Test Preparation course (ITP).

Fees

The course fee for the GAS program is $2550, plus $300 for administration fee and $125 for materials.
